Upwork can pay really well. You just have to find the right gig.

That said I loath upwork, the company has squeezed contractors for every possible drop, added subscriptions and all kinds of bullshit around communications.

I am no fan of LinkedIn, but would be happy to see Upwork have its lunch eaten.
