I dropped TeamViewer after their security and pricing shenanigans, and switched over to AnyDesk. Same thing, but free for personal use (cheaper for commercial), easier to use interface, and what seems to be higher quality software.



Why would you trust 3rd party solutions when windows already has solutions such as QuickAssist/RDP?

QuickAssist is design to fit the exact niche teamviewer was providing by helpign with support.

RDP may be a bit more of a faffle to setup, but I have global permanent access for about 60 quid. Mainly by setting up a VPN via wireguard.
