All the filters and adjustments are implemented in webgl. Some of the local brushes do per pixel adjustments on the 2d canvas.

Ok, I guess I have to read up on WebGL's capabilities one of these days. Curious, how did you implement the "flood fill" operation?

Flood fill is one of those that's not ideal for GL so they are implemented with canvas 2d.
