Also just FYI, the Muslim people live with Han people together in most areas of China (you can just go to about any cities in China and start sampling) and most Han people have learned to respect the Muslim religion, to not even talk about pigs, pork or even spam in front of them. I think the "worshiping pigs" misconception may just come as a result of good will trying to avoid embarrassment and conflicts and not talking about any of that at all, and thus the ignorance.
