When I was an intern at Big Bank, I was literally put into the printer room. Hardly anyone used the printer/copy machine so I was left alone in there for the most part, other than my boss peeking in once in a while to make sure I was still breathing. The door closed and there were no windows.

It was the most productive I've ever been. The code I wrote was mostly garbage, but I got my reps in that summer and learned how to program.
