A notification just popped up: "X and Y are on snapchat". I have X and Ys phone number, just like i have 10s of other business contacts. But there is a reason I havent added them on snapchat.

I don't really like it that it gives me such notification. Ive also been added by other people today who presumably got notification on their screen about me. Just feels privacy-intruding for some reason. I left facebook because people who i barely knew were in my friendslist and spamming my newsfeed. Now I feel its happening with Snap too.

I suppose this is Snap Incs attempt to reverse the trend of decreased user activity. It may give them short term "profit", but on long term I think this is going have the opposite effect.

Anyone else got this notification? Im in europe
