But... where are the new macs?

This is WWDC. They don't typically announce new hardware there in recent years.

Just last year they announced new iMac, Macbook Pro, Homepod and gave a sneak peek at iMac Pro.

Hardware announcements sometimes do happy at WWDC. I'm guessing they are not ready yet, so we just gotta hold out until fall event.

"typically"

Not so sure about this. WWDC 2017 (last year) had all of these announcements: - New iMac Pro - New iPad Pro 10.5 - New HomePod - Updated iMac - Updated MacBook - Updated MacBook Pros

That was just last year. Hardware announcements overall are do not happen every time.

September now.

It also means the MacBooks will likely be shipping with a new keyboard, Coffee Lake and we will see 6 core/32GB variant for the 15inch.

Hopefully, a keyboard that actually works, this time!

I have no idea why even after the class action no one talks about how embarrassingly flawed their thin keyboards are.

Mine (EUR 1799 laptop) broke after 2 months, was fixed by Apple, then broke again. People I talked to experienced similar problems, with missing keystrokes, double letters, etc.

Damn, I guess I'll be picking one of those up then! I had been planning on having to wait to 2019, this is good news!

Unlikely on many of these counts.

September is typical for hardware releases.

And we just saw a 6-core CoffeeLake MacBook Pro on Geekbench:
