There are almost no companies that respect the customer's privacy because of the lack of regulation so you can't in fact choose anything.
Companies have failed to regulate themselves since the dawn of time, this is how the world works.

You won't get PCI-DSS accredited without an audit.

Only Level 1 compliance requires an audit. Below that a remote scan of public IPs and a self-assessment is sufficient.
