What? Im Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany there have been caps for years. I don't pay much attention nowadays but it was only, what, 6? years ago whem the limits on a Belgian connection with the main provider were

I never had any caps in Poland, Germany and now in Uk so that's new to me.

It's basically because we allowed ISPs to monopolize vast swaths of the country leaving no real competition.
