Spam filters and anti-virus vendors seem to cope OK with having their algorithms understood though. It's always going to be an arms race but I see your point that using obscurity slows down the need to refine earlier. It'll be interesting to see what the final stages of the algorithm is as it converges on a proper definition of what relevant content means.
