Basically, if there's a product you've been looking for and can't find, make that. If that doesn't exist in your life at this moment... maybe hang tight until it does.
What if I know how to code and most of the tools that I can't find can easily be implemented in crude yet effective scripts? Usually I weigh out the cons and the pros and end up creating a simple script/task that I, as a programmer, can efficiently use, yet it's far away from being published.
Am I the only one who makes something useful for self only to understand that it requires substantial effort, time and devotion to turn into an open source product?
