I think it would need to support payments in the opposite direction too -- deposits into someone's account. I'd love to see this!

Other people's Stripe accounts yes, but not just arbitrary accounts.

With Managed Accounts you can create accounts for other people via the API that besides for a line in your terms of service they don't need to be aware of Stripe for.
