Using a Neural Network to Train a Ruby Twitter Bot [video] (fullstackfest.com)

That's a really misleading conference talk title. Nothing is really mentioned about ruby and the first 20 minutes is a general intro to NN.

Not saying it's a bad talk, just probably mislabeled.

Basically the twitter bot part is non existing in the talk, but at least it manages to convey a cute basic intro into neural networks.

Warning, this talk is admittedly ill-prepared and the speaker didn't create a neural network trained Twitter bot. Not worth the 20m to get an elementary introduction to NN.

That was hard to watch. "Hey, I'm going to build something with AI", "Oh, I have no idea how"

That was painful.

Forced, unfunny jokes. Um every other um word um is um. Talking so slow that even if she knew what she was talking about it would be boring. Skynet for beginners? Laughable. And now there are memes. Just shoot me.

This is a good intro as well:

I think this is proof that people upvote submissions based on titles alone, not content...

I agree that this was my worst talk up to date and I would rather not have it submitted.

Hint: Giving an ill-prepared talk is even worse than listening to one :).

These slides are too childish to be taken seriously...
