I guess Wikipedia would be the highest-profile source for most people.

The English-speaking one mirrors the Linux man page, the German-speaking Wikipedia goes further and outright advises against /dev/urandom for "high requirements". This used to be even worse, though.

Yeah, the Wikipedia articles are a problem. I'll see what I can do when back in town on my main system.
