i'm pretty pissed. skylake-h chips will only have hd 530 graphics which is slower than the current version. and still no hdmi 2.0. just laughable.

HDMI 2.0 support is supplied by the motherboard, and not a required feature. Skylake's Alpine Ridge can drive two 4k 60hz displays, and supports HDMI 2.0 operation.

Alpine Ridge is an extra cost option that won't be included in the vast majority of laptops.

Then don't buy the "vast majority of laptops" but on that includes it.
