Spot (https://www.spot.xyz/) is a 3D virtual office and event space that brings culture, presence and spontaneity back to remote teams. It provides drop-in voice and video collaboration, screen-sharing, and asynchronous chat.
We are a team of 8, well-funded and are looking for senior developers to help take Spot to the next level. We're a very experienced team with and ex-founders of Outreach.io.
Our tech stack is TypeScript on both the frontend and backend using React and Node. Our 3D engine is Babylon.js.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah we have plans to add "nearby conversations" in larger rooms, built around furniture. So walking over to a couch in the room would start a nearby conversation that wouldn't disturb the rest of the room.
