the most sane interpretation is just evolving wavefunctions according to schrödinger's equation with no extra bells or whistles. collapse is just decoherence.


Land valuation is necessary to implement a land value tax (not to be confused with property tax) which is the main thing Georgists advocate for. Georgists and YIMBYs have an affinity for one another since land value tax disincentives speculation and incentivizes building.


Prediction markets were initially proposed to provide a social good, the idea being that the ratio of the current price of a share in a prediction market to the value of that share if the market resolves to "yes" is how likely the market thinks the market is to resolve "yes" as a probability. The social good is that you could use this to predict the future.


This is a general argument against any sort of innovation in this field, which is absurd.


I'm just saying that these systems don't work for me. I write ML/AI conference papers in LaTeX, and I think that use case will be tough to dislodge. I can see this being very attractive to people making other types of documents without a fixed format, especially if you don't already know LaTeX.


Even language models are more coherent than this!
