The demo link is to the raw HTML rather than rendered. I am on mobile so maybe that's why? I'm not sure what headers are being sent. A demo or screenshot would be great.

You need to take that file and drop it in githack.com or just open the link in GitHub and change “github” to “githack”.

Based on the style with comments above each block it seems very likely to be from chatgpt or claude

Yeah.

Kind of weird we have people submitting GPT samples to people that likely have GPT themselves and could ask it for one if that's what they wanted.

But then plenty of people link google searches as though that makes sense.

See also Dr Krashen's comprehensible (not comprehensive) input theory. Lots of YouTube channels that offer graded videos in this style (to various degrees of adhering to the theory, i.e. some are simply grammar lessons which is not CI). The most well known is probably Dreaming Spanish.

I've had really great success with my children using national TV networks iOS apps with a VPN, e.g. SVT Barn (Swedish), WDR/ZDF/ARD (German), etc

Streisand effect comes to mind. Also it seems too late to try to stop it now.

I do think that explorables are useful in understanding, but man I feel overwhelmed with them. I feel like I do my t know when and where to stop. I feel less anxious with a plain PDF or similar. I guess it's a skill issue.

> my work days are dictated to a large extent by the current Moon phase

Could you explain further?

At my current employer, Kuva Space, I'm among other things responsible for the commisioning and in orbit calibration of the payload. The Moon is a major calibration target for us, and between waxing and waining crescents I spent a lot of time analyzing Moon shots to perform radiometric calibration and camera parameter optimizations. The Moon doesn't know about weekends and images are not always downlinked at the most convenient times so that makes my life a bit more hectic.

My wife is a social worker at the county welfare office and swears there is a strong correlation between phase of the moon and the nature of her work with the homeless. To the point where where she checks the calendar to schedule more time for crisis handling around the time of the full moon.

Werewolf hunter? Sorority nurse? Doctor specializing in Cushing syndrome?

Why do you refuse?

That should be regulated by parents. If the government does it it means needing a digital id

Not that the government would ever do this, but it is technically feasible for them to distribute anonymous digital IDs that verify age without allowing the user to be tracked or identified.

Technically feasible? yes. But why would the intelligence/military blob do things this way?

Haven't they proved over and over that they will use any opportunity to spy on as much people as possible?

Once the government is issuing digital IDs to grant access to speech you can split that hair however you want I think it's a pretty uncomfortable idea for a lot of people.

Gates is definitely one

Gates comes from a highly technical, engineering background and has spent over a decade largely full time on his philanthropic work.

So I would definitely not put him in the same category as most other billionaires.

You’re absolutely right because he was a regular visitor to Jeffrey Epstein’s island.

Not that it has any relevance to his expertise. He wasn’t on the island at all:

So was Trump, and trump clearly knew about Epstein's "preference for girls, especially of the young kind" circa the 2001 vanity fair article where he was quoted saying that.

Non dairy versions are pretty widely available and really tasty

I'm not crazy about non-dairy cheeses (though some are getting to be good), but ice cream is firmly in the good enough to great category. I haven't enjoyed drinking milk on its own for so long that it doesn't even register as a concern.

I've noticed some vegan soft cheeses like feta and cream cheese are way, way ahead of the melty or flavourful varieties that are heavily cultured, like blue cheese or parmesan. They seem to fall very short of the goal, but some are still good on a pasta or salad nonetheless.

I found a cookie dough ice cream a few months back that is seriously incredible. I can't recall the brand, but I realized as I ate it that I don't really miss dairy ice cream anymore at all.

I'm still hopeful for something like camembert or cheddar to appear that's as amazing as that cookie dough ice cream. Until then, I'm alright living without them.

I'm vegan and I'm going to go ahead and disagree with the statement that non-dairy cheese is tasty. It is also expensive and lots of restaurants don't even offer it as an option.

I have had some pretty good avocado icecream. But, it was not quite as creamy and I only found chocolate (not sure if the limited flavor selection was because it is niche, or because of something in the nature of avocado).

I’m not American but if I would keep one think of this country, it would be diary-free Ben and Jerry’s without a spoon of hesitation.

Some non-diary ice cream, sure. Non-dairy cheese? There isn't a single tasty one.

That's certainly a take. Non-dairy ice cream and cheese is utter garbage in my opinion. Not worth the calories.
