Im aphantastic to some extent and lack inner voice except for certain situations where there is a semblance of inner voice. Im learning for the first time about anauralia and am intrigued, seems I do to some extend have this. I'm just curious, do you present no inner voice whatsoever or do you have the occasional inner voice in some cases, when for example you attempt to collect some information when getting ready to write down something or in a very stressful situation you need to enumerate some steps to get out of it, etc...

How about the mortgage, the mouths to feed and other financial obligations? Or are you suggesting volunteering in addition to keeping the tech job?

I know that's hard. But honestly I had fallen into something similar to what OP is saying a long time back and it is a bit of a one step backward first to go forward kind of a thing. Without nourishing the soul genuinely these things can take over your life. Maybe he can volunteer for a short while / after hours.

Dennis Muilenburg, Boeing's former CEO, left the company with $80.7 million in pay and benefits, after being fired over two aircraft crashes that killed 346 people in total. His compensation dwarfs the $50 million set aside for families of the crash victims.

That doesn't sound like a consequence. That sounds like party.

Scamming is also stealing. Go catch the perpetrators, prove they scammed and so on. Not saying it isn't possible but it's a gargantuan task.

It sure is. Not enough hours in a day or a lifetime, unfortunately.

So... I report the bullshit listings to LinkedIn or whoever; AKA yell at a cloud. Or THE cloud, in fact.

Why are superstars seeking employment in corporations though?

Those outsized salaries [1] are pretty hard to resist once you know you are skilled enough to scale their interview process.

Subject does not like being talked about or dissected too much.

I highly doubt @dang flagged this himself, other people did. It seems like a controll valve that can be used from time to time. Anyone can gang up with a bunch of others to mass flag a story.

Too many books in ones pocket is for many a curse, ending up reading none. For a minority of with very much self control and determination tough, it probably is a super power to have a library in the pocket.

Not a good punishment as it has workarounds. They'd hire through shell companies and when one becomes tainted they'd use a different one.

> It’s been common knowledge that any Chinese ED supplement on Amazon that is effective has Viagra in it. This is not a bug but a feature

And who knows what else!!!

I'd never ingest anything that has Chinese provenance. Chinese garlic comes to mind as the latest thing to try to avoid. Not sure if true but it seems to be grown in sewage. I'd rather be safe and avoid that altogether.

>Not sure if true but it seems to be grown in sewage.

If that's your concern, you shouldn't be worried about just China. It's done in America as well.

A lot of the garlic in yhe US is from China, so if you ate in a restaurant you likely had some already.

Absolutely. And Amazon should also pay for it!

Not how it works.

Everyone pays. Amazon for their part. The producer for their part. Anyone that is provably in between is held accountable as well. Usually it's the producer that gets hit the hardest. Not disagreeing with that. That's what should happen. Just listing another in a litany of reasons that it's far worse for the producer/manufacturer than for the distributor. Think about it, your grocer rarely suffers the same consequences that a poultry producer does in the event of a poultry recall for instance.
