3 out of 10 for Elon Musk!

Apple's employees are forced to spend lots of valuable time "sitting there looking at things that may or may not be d*cks all day long."

Interestingly there's not a single word in the description about Android or Jelly Bean or Nexus or smartphones or tablets...

Could this mean that Google Now is intended to be available across multiple platforms (including desktop environments)?

ArduSat is a Kickstarter project that will put an Arduino-based satellite up for rent to run your own experiments (or even your own code) in Space.

Crowdfunding + OpenSource hardware + Shared usage via rental = Democratization of Space!

IMHO co-meeting is the best GWave alternative available today. Basically it's an user-friendly version of Apache WiaB. For now it only lacks OpenSocial gadgets but according to a co-meeting developer, they could be added in the near future.

The (Finnish) humor/sci-fi/diesel-punk movie also has an interesting business-model, selling "war-bonds" to fan. See: http://www.ironsky.net/site/

from the same developers "Taskos To Do List", their previous Android app, is IMHO much better: same functions, a more useful widget and the app is much lighter.

That 36% number may be a little high since TNW is considering the Nexus One and Google TV as failures.

The Nexus One has greatly raised the level of high ends Android phones. It was a first attempt for Google to define Hardware in collaboration with manufacturers, and since they now keep doing that on regular basis I would say it was a success.

Google TV initial launch was possibly a failure, but the Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwich update will certainly be a re-born and, possibly, a worldwide "second" launch. I think it's too early to judge it.
