The Mac trackpads are outstanding. I consider it one of their best hardwares

Math before bedtime used to cause me sleep issues. Not sure if you tried doing it early in the morning or not, but also your bed should only be used for sleeping (sleep hygiene) and nothing else (no math)

Yea, preferably I do it on the couch. Staying over at the in-laws with a 75% finished house for Christmas. So it is what it is

Dogfooding hype!

Red/blue is a cynical and false division. One can live in a blue state and vote red, and vice versa. In fact, some localities are nearly 50/50 or 45/55 when you dig into the data. Breaking up the union over statistical ignorance and false divisions is not a good idea.

I don’t understand why the department of defense Chooses this insecure incompetence

I suspected it needed to be directed with a specification to call it vibe engineered

In the article it also says the key to deicpher was Elizabeth and that the solution was approved by two cryptographers at the NSA

Huh, apparently I didn't read the whole thing then.

OP was saying it was stupid for Chicago to give that away for peanuts

The person I replied to said Chicago's decision may end up to be wise.

Its become clear that the axiom “The Net Interprets Censorship As Damage and Routes Around It” as no longer true. It hasnt been since before 2010 anecdotely but the data Schneier presents here is undeniable

This is still somewhat true. For example, Russia is now frequently shutting down mobile Internet. Ostensibly for protection against drone attacks, but even it had to relent a bit and allow at least some whitelisted services to work.

So immediately local VPN companies started providing the unrestricted access through proxies at these services.

It hasn't been true since 9/11 when the US name servers were "shut down" and traffic was dropped ftom level3 nodes.

What name server / level3 event was this?

I’ve never heard 10% it’s close to 5% if you account for inflation

It's about 10% nominal, 7% after inflation, if you count dividend reinvestment.

For US large cap stocks only.
