I like this https://labs.google/lll/en from Google

I don't know if I should share it here, but once travelling, I shared a smoke with a fellow traveller and I thought I could handle anything because I thought it was weed. It was something more than I know. I felt paranoid and felt everyone was watching me. I don't know how I was sane, but I decided to go and sleep and never will I dare touch anything so called weed.

It was probably K2/Spice. The same thing happened to me as well as a panic attack and borderline disassociation. I never touched weed, real or otherwise after that.

> She made a promise to the patron saint of her church, Saint Judas, to help people in the same situation as her.

And there is hospital !! This a wonderful story, thanks for sharing.

yeah, thres a cool story. A wealth lady gave her a diamond neckless that was audictioned. The person who won the neckless in the auction gave it back to my aunt, so she could auction it again. The same neckless was auctioned like 3, 4 times because of that. A lot of generous people helped her pave the way, but it was her wll and determination that focused this efforts.

Personally I dont have a good relationship with her, because of things she done in the family, including to my own parents, but damn if this don't goes to show that even peolpe we may think are bad can can make the world a better place. She does have a lot of good karma to expend the rest of her life.

I hope they did something to not load my hard drive with all the AI crap and steal the storage.

This ridiculous arms race can't be over soon enough.

Everyone supports spending cuts but is increasing defence spending and cutting science funding the solution ?

I never thought about it, but it is pretty surprising to learn that nature has evolved this system. I'm amazed by how this scientist was able to find a correlation and tell how things work in this instance. There is so much synch in the nature that is't hard to notice how connected everything is.

Nice naming of your projects. It just caught my attention :).

I love PGAdmin. For me it works very well. And then there are other tools when I need to work with schema etc. I always feel PGAdmin is an open source product that the team is most actively working on, always keep releasing fixes and updates. I don't want it in my IDE yet.

> BlueSky - basically just great timing and willingness to fully copy Twitter.

Don't think it is just a copy. It is same UX that keep the familiarity factor to Twitter but then you can also run your own PDS and own your data. There is a lot more curated feeds and that makes it even more interesting.

I was going to suggest turning friendster.com into a fullstack atproto-based app. Maybe just fork Bluesky's social app, as others are doing, and rebrand it as Friendster.

For me it’s a copy. But I’m glad you’re getting some extra benefit! I’m just glad it exists.

You should start by thinking federated to make it great again ! I love what bluesky is doing. You can either go that route or build full compatible Activity Pub + your own layer of whatever feature you want to add on top of it.
