Focusing on the number of “keys” is an attempt to deceive.

Yes, moving focus to the location bar and then copying the URL gives you the same result. It’s not the same number of steps as copying the URL without changing focus.

Ctrl-L, then while still holding Ctrl, hitting C is not the same number of steps as chording Ctrl-Shift and hitting C. Two steps vs one step.

That’s a good point. I’m looking for the same thing.

OT: for your old Mac mini with the non-selectable Bluetooth “add” button, maybe try Mouse Keys.

Useful list, thank you! I much prefer surfing without JavaScript. If I need to enable it for something temporarily, that’s fine. I just don’t want to leave it enabled all the time.

With Google search’s new landing page for those without JavaScript enabled, even if you enable JavaScript and reload, it just gives you the same ‘fail’ page. No matter what you do at that point Google deletes your search string and you need to retype it.

Just changed my default search to DDG and I’ll be looking into Kagi.

>How would the content creators or news sites earn then?

“Creators” seem to do just fine with the patronage model.

> ads are built on tracking as untargeted ads pays [sic] significantly lower than targeted.

Not my problem. I am not required to prop up your failed business model.

My opinion is, of course, in the minority. I understand that Google will do their best to keep the status quo in the advertising industry.

Me too, I produced a lot of work with it. Lingo was a gas.

Fair enough. I don’t use the iPad version of FCP or Resolve, but I’ve paid for both Mac apps and have enjoyed free updates from Apple and Blackmagic for close to 10 years.

2 of the 3 threads you posted are specifically related to pixel art.

The first linked thread is by a person who is doing pixel art. “I'm working on pixel art (very small-resolution bitmaps)”

The second thread you linked is also by a person doing pixel art. “I work on pixel art a lot”

This doesn’t take away from the fact that there’s a blurring issue happening that Affinity don’t seem to be able/willing to solve as of yet, just making it clear that you linked to two threads by people doing small bitmapped pixel art, then denied they had anything to do with it.

Apple told us the first iPad supports up to 11 finger multitouch, so people were understandably curious and got creative.

One example is Mac mini Colo (which I believe has been in business since 2010)

Also, Amazon

Just like with songwriting, I’m going to keep creating and posting videos, whether or not there is any monetary compensation. People who do things for their own enjoyment will find a way to do it.

If it’s on a centralized site like bandcamp or YouTube/Vimeo, that’s fine. If not, I can host the files myself.
