Typically, you see the logo before you get into the actual car. I would say you can tell by the shape, but some brands share too much in the looks department (cough Kia/Hyundai).
Nowadays Kia and Hyundai target different segments, but quality is about the same. Kia also does more region-specific models, like the Ceed in Europe and the Telluride in US, while Hyundai seems to have a more global strategy where they choose what to sell from a portfolio of global models.
Its like a mini dot com crash. A lot of pandemic had incredible growth that is was truly sustainable. Now you have companies want their employees back in the office. So all that "growth" that could have been this year is not there.
Apple is in between a rock and a hard place on this. Webkit activity really slowed down a lot. Apple is pretty much the main contributor. It also gives them the most flexibility to incorporate into their products. Blink engine is very slow on the Mac/Apple products, and would put Apple at the mercy of Google ultimately. The Gecko engine is something they could probably use, but there are a lot of "mixed" opinions on how good the engine is.
Sidenote:
I love Apple products, but to be honest Apple is not the best at making software. Recently, the quality has declined too. Their great applications are a few niche professional apps not designed for the average user. They have also gotten a lot slower at releasing updates.
Dunno... I do a lot of web browsing on an iPad and don't notice a problem with it.
I am a software dev at work and we had a time period where our product (React-based SPA) wasn't working on mobile Safari because of 3rd party cookie issues -- in the long term though the world was going that way and once we changed our cookies Safari works just fine.
I think its odd that "military experts" are stumped:
If Russia performs a blitzkrieg like attack they would level Ukraine to the ground or destroy major infrastructure. Russia would have to pay to rebuild everything with a pissed off international community. That would cost a hell of a lot more than what they would gain. I don't see why they are surprised, after you realize Russia/Putin isn't trying to destroy, just conquer.
It appears like Russia just wants to take over the land, make it a puppet state, and benefit from its resources. Even the damage to civilian buildings look more of a scare tactic to get Ukrainians to surrender than to win by destruction. Countless sources have said that Russia didn't expect the pushback.
This whole thing is because Ukrainians have shown amazing resistance. If you look at military battles: Battle of Thermopylae. Battle of Thermopylae explains the advantages/current success of Ukrainians, hopefully with a better outcome <3.
The unknown is how Putin is going to save face after all of this.
