I guess I'm the only one that wants a 17" with a 2k+ screen because the more I can fit on the screen at once, the more I can do while mobile.

I'm not sure they were being serious.

This isn't news. Why on earth would anyone think it was better than this?

If you want time more accurate than 50ms, there are tons of options. NTP is not remotely one that any competent scientist or engineer would employ. This is basically the equivalent of saying "I've looked into it, and Toyota Corollas do not have a 0 - 60 time of less than one second." - and that would be the answer to why no one is talking about it.

Then why should any company even use/have jira

Jira/etc is not necessary, sufficient or even particularly effective for managing engineering work... but I've never had real success convincing managers of this unless they already thought like this. Changing somebody's fundamental approach to leadership is hard!

You'd obsolete 30% of tech 'work' without it. Unless you're a shareholder why would you want to cut bloat?

I love the concept of the article where one LLM can't draw a simple clock but the other one can accurately diagnose medical conditions from a hypothetical drawn image.

Proof of Concept

Thanks.

I second all of this. I went with the little blue stick from HA and things have been great.

I personally know someone that did an MRI with a finger magnet and yes, there's a fair bit to it, but it's plenty doable. Obviously consult your doctor and the tech, but know that it has been done successfully several times.

Don't spout nonsense that you're clearly uninformed about. That's not how any of this works. Yes, a large piece of metal is dangerous in an MRI. A three gram magnet in a finger not so much.

One of the requirements of the author was something that could work on embedded-sized resources.
