Similar one for Slovakia: https://meskanievlakov.info/mapa/

There is also the official version by the infrastructure maintainer: https://mapa.zsr.sk/index.aspx

There are already hot sauces using it as an ingredient: https://heatonist.com/products/the-last-dab-xperience-hot-on...

That's what the USB org is doing, if manufacturers decide together they need an USB-D, that will become the new standard.

(9) in the EU directive: https://data.consilium.europa.eu/doc/document/ST-10713-2022-...

I would expect that within EEA most of the regulations would be the same and I don't think it's the problem.

What you would need though is translated manuals and such by law. Maybe even localized support for warranties that could raise costs to enter a market.

This is only my assumption, but it would make sense, that's why they cover even smaller English speaking countries like Ireland. Or for example Germany is a big market, but they cover Austria too, because they have German language for free.

I found a nice reply on this topic here in the official forums: https://community.frame.work/t/availability-in-european-unio...

There must be a simpler way. I can buy any other electronics parts internationally, why not laptop parts from the Framework Marketplace? I also wouldn't mind buying as a business and skipping VAT and consumer protection. There's no import tax for computers either.

Or Merkur (Constructo, Build-O, Tecc): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkur_(toy)

"they'd have to be a person I'd spend time with when I'm bored" - I don't think this is fair to expect from anybody. It has a similar vibe as expecting from a relationship to pull you out of sadness. You have to be able to enjoy yourself and your time, if you can share that with anybody and elevate it, that's just an extra.

> 1. Bigger animals have larger cells, so the number of cells does not scale linearly with the mass of the animal.

Where is this coming from? If I google "do larger animals have larger cells", it says the opposite.

The wikipedia article has a section on it.

But just consider nerve cells that control limbs. A nerve cell consists of a neuronal body and a long axon. If you have a longer limb, you will need a longer axon, and therefore a larger neuronal body to maintain it.

Kurzgesagt had a video about the topic: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1AElONvi9WQ

I don't think the Venu line is "smarter" than the others. It's more every day watch design and has an AMOLED touch screen, but the functionality is nearly the same.

You're right, what I mean is it puts less emphasis on the sport and fitness tracking features, compared to Fenix and Forerunner lines, and hence lacks some of the more advanced features and metrics.

The built in Android calculator worked like this for ages and it keeps history forever.

The built-in calc sucks: when the keyboard is displayed to edit the current expression, the app can only display ONE previous expression at a time. Sometimes I calculate things and need to refer to 2 or more previous results. I would have to copy paste them one at a time (cumbersome) or memorize them.

If only it could display about a dozen previous results while the keyboard is active... With a Python REPL I can just assign intermediate results to variables.
