I don't put cases (or even screen protectors) on mine either (since 2015). I've dropped it many times, obviously, but I've only ever had the edges of the phone get the slightest nicks - which I prefer to having a case on it.
Yeah, both my Nexus and Pixel 1 had that issue. I lost 6 months photos and other data because of that. Now I continuously backup my entire phone to my file server when on my home wifi, and a whiff of a bootloop gets me rattled.
My current Pixel 3 has done something similar twice, but it's going good so far so
hiring posts can be edited without timelimit. also i would put the email in the profile, then you can removed it from there any time easily. i also 'obscure the address as name at domain. never got spam despite posting many times.
> I was a known atheist in prison, due to some reading material I received in the mail. Outside of the SHU, people often tried to engage me about my beliefs, which I avoided.
Did this cause any issues other than attempted conversions?
I have a (normal) pixel 3 and it does do it, but the UI is terrible and sometimes doesn't engage. And when it does the link shows up in what I found to be an awkward place.
I'm about 90% sure this used to work better on an older version of android.
I've certainly never tried to stop it from updating. It's on version 8.4.600.440402475.27. When I point mine at a QR code absolutely nothing at all happens
I don't know if this is the same experience for you, but for a while I would just open the camera app without realizing I had to swipe over to Google Lens mode to have it detect QR codes.
You can get a much better experience by using nitter[0]. Easiest way to do it is by replacing twitter.com with nitter.it (or some other nitter instance) in your link.
It always loads much faster than Twitter for me. Maybe it depends on which instance you're using, if nitter.net is slow for you, the other popular instances I know of are nitter.42l.fr and nitter.kavin.rocks; these two have been around for some time and been stable, you can settle on whichever one is fastest for you.
+1, for anyone who doesn't stay signed in it's a "go away" signal - which is ironic because those people are more likely to sign in if they are allowed to read more.
On Android I use Fritter. You can even follow people and get notification without an account. Great for following news and feed type accounts that are only on Twitter.
This is literally THE reason I don’t use twitter. Somehow my 2FA is associated with an old phone number and I’ve tried once or twice to fix but… bleh, at least let me read.
