I dont have a TV. Not going to buy one till I finish my dream project

great tips. Anything for me?? I work in a typical IT services company in India. 1Hr commute one way, have teleconference calls till 11pm. then eat and sleep. But should be in office by 10AM. The problem is my wife also works in the same project. :-( Fortunately we are in a joint family. food, my sweet baby, cleaning, washing etc.. are all taken care.

Make a schedule where every minute of every day goes for 2 weeks and you'll know what to cut. Having joint family support to do everything for you is a big help already.

I have read posts of these kind for quite some time. All of them suggest. ... Wake up early, exercise, work for 2 Hrs and then get ready for normal life. I have been trying to do this but failing miserably, cos my body doesn't cope up. I say start exercising regularly once it becomes a routine then start working on your start-up.but don't forget exercising. Having said all that it boils down to one point. WILL POWER.

nah, just new habits. Like this guy who got up at 3:45am for 135 days:

It Works!!

and $$$$....

That covers all types of intelligence a man could posses.. Could anyone list anything else that is not a subset of the eight??

God bless you. I thought I am alone. I wanted to ask this question for a looong time but could not get it out.. I bet there are many more ppl like this.

I switched careers a few years ago and have often felt like this.

I also read Steven Kings book, "On Writing." Even though it's about prose, one of the most important things I took away from it is this: if I want to be a good ______ I need to show up, every day and _______. Usually, I won't know when I did good ______ until after the fact and if I don't ______, every day, I won't be able to measure myself and improve on my previous efforts.

This has helped me continue to plug away (at work, on my own time) and seek out interesting challenges that will help me to mark small, identifiable milestones of improvement.

I see this in many things, not just programming or writing.

+1. Agreed, I'm bored in a security consulting career. It pays well but does not make me feel like a creator. Getting into some node.js as a place to start building things.

Good read.. this could also be a productivity booster..

Obviously it will. If not then that means mankind has stopped innovating. With the competitor out of site innovation will tumble in Facebook.

bet we would need a separate site for publishing the list. The elections are near. Hope they get a good reply
