This is amazing! Thanks for sharing

I think the opposite is true.

If artists would be forced to release only singles they would be pressured to make every song fit the “hit” format. Music would be more homogenous and boring. I doubt Bohemian Rhapsody would ever be released in such a world.

I guess I’m in the minority but I like listening to full albums even when using a streaming service.

I'm a software developer with 10+ years of experience ranging from C++/Qt to Python, TypeScript and React. Last 6 years I've been working as a consultant in web projects (React, TypeScript, Python). Most of my experience is from working in small teams or as a solo developer so I'm used to wearing many hats and working on all levels of the stack.

Interestingly 90% of energy in Norway is produced with hydro and the rest is mostly wind power

This really interesting. As it happens I just got into knitting and I’m working on my first beanie. I find it really relaxing and at the you get something you can use yourself or give as a gift.

For me my head is giant so it was the only way for me to get hats that covered my ears... It's also interesting how fast you can rip one out. My record is a hat on 7's for my head which I think is about 160 stitches around and 28 rows, was 4 hours. My spouse who knits a ton slammed one out for my friend who forgot one before a ski trip in 2.5 hours while we were at the pub the night before the flight.

I think Älvsby houses in the Nordics are closer to what the article is talking about. Their houses are built from large pieces manufactured at a factory and later assembled at the site.

The article is about homes built as essentially a giant camping trailer. The entire home (sometimes in two pieces, as a "double-wide") is delivered to the property and semi-permanently installed, but can still (theoretically) be moved somewhere else after that.

Strange. In the USA, there is a strong distinction between manufactured, multilateral, mobile homes. You can’t use the terms interchangeably. Double and single wides are manufactured homes, but trailer park homes are definitely in the mobile category.

What’s the difference between a single wide and a trailer park home?

This looks great! I really like the idea of using tagged template literals for queries.

I've been building a page with some Tailwind CSS landing page templates and hopefully I launch it soon. I initially thought it would be an easy project but it has taken me months of slow grinding to get to this point.
