I got them from here: http://pyrtsa.posterous.com/aligning-your-git-logs (which also has the list-not-graph versions).

[Which is what I was going to comment, but you beat me to it.]

The follow-up presentation here is just as good, in my opinion: http://www.dabeaz.com/coroutines/Coroutines.pdf

Thank you! I'll read it ASAP.

Not the full feature set, unfortunately. Cygwin can't support passing file descriptors via Unix sockets, and so sadly, ControlMaster doesn't work there.

According to the summary on the Ubuntu bug: "Essentially, we don't want to allow a '.' because of .dpkg-old and .dpkg-dist files."

Is the implication that you can have .dpkg files in cron folders that you wouldn't want to try to execute?

I posted a link (http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2701527) to a Debian bug that explains the rationale (aside from the historical behavior argument) a little better: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=308911

My apologies; I must have missed the comments in between my first looking at it and posting my comment.

Can't help with the rock/hip hop, but for electronica (and its ilk) I would recommend: soma.fm (or, apparently, somafm.com, now.)

(For example, the "cliqhop/idm" shoutcast stream is what I use when I need non-distracting music in the background, for working.)
