I screenshot that comment to send to my PM.

It is a common opinion (shared by myself and many others, including the streamer Primeagen, for example) that Cursor is much better than Copilot

Barbara Minto's Pyramid Principle is different. She invented that in 1985. The journalism "inverted pyramid" is much older, going back to the 1800s.

>The sad thing is that it's becoming much more like America

It cannot help that more and more Americans are moving there.

Expatriation (immigration?) to Portugal from America furthers Portuguese wealth inequality and housing crisis. Lisbon is already basically a playground for foreigners and if you do decide to move there please try to assimilate by learning the language, etc.

Source: Portuguese/US citizen. Lived there for a year with a "good" Portuguese salary of 2000 euros a month; much different lifestyle than what the typical US tech worker is accustomed to. And not doable long term unless you plan to retire in Portugal and not do much travelling.

As somewhat of an AI-generated image hater, I had a lot more fun with this than I was expecting to. Nice work :-)

Haha glad to hear it! Thanks!

That sounds like L1 in this article (there are six) https://www.vellum.ai/blog/levels-of-agentic-behavior

Relative to that scale, L2 is how I've come to understand it. It's kind of soft-sold as L3 but that will require quite a bit of work on the vendor side (e.g., implementing an AWS Lambda style setup for authoring functions the LLM can call).

competition?

Also I think a large chunk of people will be happy to just consume media all day.

Or, less pessimistic, a lot of people are happy to consume human relationships all day.

That’s what life has always been about for a large segment of people, going back thousands of years. Media is more or less a bandaid. People are busy, people are anxious, people don’t want to bother to spend money - media can give the sensation of human interaction without the hard bits.

But ultimately, if I could never work but I was surrounded by my loved ones forever, I would be pretty happy with that. We can find stuff to do, or just do nothing at all. With them, it’s always a blast.
