Do you have a site for this 20 years ago claim? The first I've seen is one about 10 years ago, in the UK.

Holy crap, is this what cops whisper to themselves overnight to make them feel better about killing people constantly? They aren't dealing with wild west, quick draw experts here. There was a guy with a pocket knife in Seattle awhile back that got executed by a cop because he was whittling (and deaf in the ear the cop was talking to him). Do you think that cop that that he was some ninja knife thrower that could make an accurate throw within milliseconds?

When driving, traveling at 60mph, you have 10+ milliseconds to react, often that's not enough time. However, if you have a gun trained on me, with your freaking finger on the trigger, and it takes about 10ms to pull it, There is no way the typical meth head can whip out a holstered gun and shoot 2-3 people before you can squeeze that hair trigger. The fact that cops want put push that as the "fact of the matter" is sad, and pathetic. Go ahead and keep justifying your murder.

Truth be told, most cops are probably scared shitless because your bosses push this bullshit about millisecond accuracy and military precision in thought and action, and it's your bosses that really cause this death-toll, it's best you just quit repeating their crap and focus on reality.

I switched to VSCode just for my Typescript projects, and really like it. Main reason I switched was that in Sublime you can hide JS and map files, but it always hides them. With VSCode you can have logic in your config, so you can hide JS files, only if a TS file with the same name exists, that way I don't have to switch config when I'm looking for a js file particularly, and can keep my sidebar clean and show only files I need to edit.

For vodka, this is why I seek out actual russian imports, and I have a strong preference for potato distilled vodka. Unfortunately, finding these are few and far between, so grain it is. Still, when that's the case, I go for cheap vodka, and there's quite a strong difference there too. I'm talking 750ml for 7-8 dollars, some is just undrinkable, others are smoother than smirnoff (also not high end, just comparing to a well known, marketed as highish end).

I use a 2013 MBPro and own a 2015 Mac Mini, but wanted something portable to play video games. I had all of the main requirements you had too, with the added requirement that it could power a 2k monitor on Fallout 4 at the highest setting.

The only thing I found that let me configure it online, and met the requirements (would have preferred more than 16GB of RAM though), was the HP Omen.

Edit: It comes with a 4k screen, which I downgraded to 1080p (Mostly used on monitor), but also wish it had a 2k downgrade option. Mac's Retina resolution is just about perfect, and not really a fan of 4k yet, also on a 15 inch screen it seems a waste.

> NG2 is a monolithic and over-engineered framework backed by a company who have proven they conflict with themselves (Polymer) and deprecate popular services on a whim (Google Reader).

It's a tiny bit of a stretch to call it a whine, but it's old when it's brought up constantly, tbh.

Huh, did you go to my school? I had the same thing happen. The summer of graduation, even. There were crazy rumors of it not even being an accident. He was actually a fairly close friend of mine and I was away at boot camp.

I also had an aquantance of mine die in 5th grade. Him and two of his brothers drown when the ice broke on a pond they were playing on[0]. But that's it, out of all of the people I know from school and church, all the way growing up, not just my age peers. At least, those that I heard of.

Yet, the British still use "stone" to measure their weight, then complain about universal standards not being used by the Americans.

I did not know that, it's interesting to know. However, Mel Brooks did direct it, and I wonder how genius it would have been without his direction.

Odd, here in Washington, 4WD/AWD get exemptionss[0]. However, my dad, who drives a 4WD, bought chains because he was told 4WD do not get an exemption, so there seems to be some confusion. The WSDOT site clearly says both are exempt though.
