I think we'd need to see some sales figures for cases. The case I use on my 13 Pro (casetify) adds enough size that the bump is barely an issue -- there is maybe a 1mm edge around the actual camera bump. It's very nearly the ideal. I don't know how common this size case is, though -- common enough that a mainstream case company sells it, I guess.
I'll concede the point on the weight, although I bet it'd be more like 350g.
I doubt Apple would add drop-friendly materials in such an expansion of the phone so most people would be putting a case on top of the iPhone Brick, making it even thicker and heavier.
> Mexico’s security chief confirmed Tuesday that 17 family members of cartel leaders crossed into the U.S. last week as part of a deal between a son of the former head of the Sinaloa Cartel and the Trump administration.
I don't know how Republicans continue to support this administration. Maybe they just don't know he's aiding criminals?
> He believed that was the case because the former cartel boss, whose lawyer said in January he had entered negotiations with U.S. authorities, had been pointing fingers at members of other criminal organizations likely as part of a cooperation agreement.
> “It is evident that his family is going to the U.S. because of a negotiation or an offer that the Department of Justice is giving him,” Garcia Harfuch said.
Looks like they're getting protection in exchange for testimony against other cartels.
> . Maybe they just don't know he's aiding criminals?
I mean, our president is a criminal himself. Repeatedly violating the law and the constitution while in office. At this point those supporting the regime must doing it out of either cowardice or malice
> No convictions have come from any of the accusations as POTUS.
I'm not sure we'll ever see one since the supreme court is in his pocket and has already ruled that that the president is allowed to commit crimes as long as it was an "official act" as determined on a case by case basis by the court
That's through the courts. There is still the concept of impeachment+conviction which is what Trump was arguing was the only way to deal with presedential misbehavior. Of course he was leaning on the knowledge that his party's control of congress would make that a non-starter as well
I do not think ADP goes back and adjusts the numbers from its previous reports. I think this is because ADP does not use sampling - ADP uses the actual data from the private companies for which it provides payroll services. With this data is pretty clear, among many other things, how many people were employed at this particular company in this particular geography at this particular time. ADP then aggregates all of this data in its report.
Right -- I guess I'm wondering if ADP figures were lower than BLS figures by a proportionally significant margin (enough to possibly confirm these new values). I haven't been able to find the figures myself.
Maybe the thought-terminating cliche should be posted as a comment by a bot at the top of every submission so there's a home for this sort of complaint.
They're going for gut reactions by people who are either incapable of or choose not to use second-order thinking. It's all about the gut -- if you look deeper, you're a lousy ivory tower liberal, yadda yadda.
I've had similar issues using kubectl to access some tools that made a lot of requests (polling, which is something argocd does I believe).
Setting this environment variable helped a lot: KUBECTL_PORT_FORWARD_WEBSOCKETS=true
Note: because Google's quality is falling you won't be able to find this variable using their search, but you can read about it by searching Bing or asking an LLM.
