Strong incentive to dive in to CloudFront CDN it seems. Transfer from AWS to CloudFront 'edge' caches is now free, and outgoing from CloudFront to the internet is nearly 30% cheaper all of a sudden.
cloudFront has been cheaper than S3 for as long as I can recall. And it makes sense with the way amazon does cost based pricing. Its cheaper to transfer cached bits fromthe edge of the network than pull it from inside of multiple datacenters.
I don't find it aggressive, it seems more like Dutch directness to me. As an inhabitant of a neighbouring country, I must say it's an acquired taste ;)
This is really neat! Congratulations to Ben for another great feature.
I don't know if it's coincidence, or maybe personal bias, but since going Open Source the pace of improvements to Feedbin has really picked up.
I subscribe to a metric ton of travel-hacking blogs, gathering all the discounts, promotions,... and now I can finally filter out all the loyalty programs I don't use. Super handy.
Not right now, but soon (in a few weeks - months) there will be a whole avalanche of laptops coming out based on Intel's Ultrabook platform; very much 'inspired' by the MacBook Air.
