Interesting! Source?

Why not work with SpaceX and use bandwidth from their LEO Starlink constellation?

Sure, then just do that. No one will hold you at gunpoint and force you to use any kind of tool.

The criticism isn't that they are forcing me to use this tool.

Because you were introducing exploits in your "SSO flow" in 2005. You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want organizations (that spend billions on, and make this software free of cost) to care about security, there will usually be a slight inconvenience penalty you have to pay to comply with better patterns.

> we are releasing an early version of this model, OpenAI o1-preview, for immediate use in ChatGPT

Awesome!

Rate limited to 30 messages per week for ChatGPT Plus subscribers at launch: https://openai.com/index/introducing-openai-o1-preview/

Read "immediate" in "immediate use" in the same way as "open" in "OpenAI".

You can use it, I just tried a few minutes ago. It's apparently limited to 30 messages/week, though.

The option isn't there for us (though the blogpost says otherwise), even after CTRL-SHIFT-R, hence the parent comment.

I am interpreting "immediate use in ChatGPT" the same way advanced voice mode was promised "in the next few weeks."

Probably 1% of users will get access to it, with a 20/message a day rate limit. Until early next year.

Rate limit is 30 a week for the big one and 50 for the small one

Seems like their cloud compute offering (what I was curious about) is just a wrapper around Azure:

> JioCloud Compute powered by Microsoft Azure is a simple, scalable, secure and cost-effective solution …

So, can adult stem cells become any type of cell or not?

This reminds me a lot of the Hutter Prize[1]. Funnily enough, the Hutter Prize shifted my thinking 180 degrees towards intelligence ~= compression, because to truly compress information well you must understand its nuanced.

I keep getting a "Email rate limit exceeded" when attempting to create an account so I can upvote and comment.
