I really enjoyed this piece. We don't use .dev on my team so it allowed me to read it as purely educational. And it really was informative and surprisingly entertaining!
Connecting is far and away the biggest pain I've had with my AirPods. I don't have a problem with their charge (despite using them all day) or with them falling out or getting lost.
I bought them to remove the hassle of the cables getting knotted and caught on things and, on that front, it's been amazing. I frequently forget I have them in my ears at all. I even fell asleep wearing them the other night and woke up to them still securely in my ears.
If Apple could just improve the connecting and disconnecting experience, I would be absolutely thrilled.
I tend to leave a pretty decent amount of money in my Venmo account. I consider it my "play" money. Usually, I have my buddy use his reward credit card and I Venmo my part of the bill (mutually beneficial). Having a card would make things a lot simpler for me.
Interesting, do you then always forfeit the credit card rewards to your friend? Everyone's situation is different but usually credit card points can be quiet valuable coming in at 3% to 5% of the swiped amount.
(For example, $1000 spent on wining and dining over a month can equal approximately $20 to $50, depending on how you spend your reward points).
IE11+ will work and everything modern. If you don't have native support things get polyfilled. Youtube nowdays runs on Polymer, web components and they support older browsers.
