If I had worked for months doing overtime only for the game to be released before it was ready, and seen the reaction it has got, I'd be frustrated.

One person's "bloat and inefficiency" is another person's "features at low cost".

We simply wouldn't have the services we have today at their low price if our hardware didn't offer them more breathing room.

As inefficiency tips more towards degradation in machines, more emphasis will be given to efficiency.

Is that an accurate tl;dr?

"As part of an ongoing migration of the User ID Service to a new quota system, a change was made in October to register the User ID Service with the new quota system, but parts of the previous quota system were left in place which incorrectly reported the usage for the User ID Service as 0."

Was she marginalized? She ran a team at Google. How many of us can claim that?

How was she marginalized? Marginalized means keeping someone in a powerless or unimportant position in society, which she was not as she had one of the most important roles in AI and was a manager.

What has led you to conclude the UK hasn't been more efficient with the data?

The head of the regulatory agency refers to a "rolling review". Perhaps they are confident enough so far that they are willing to roll this out to the most vulnerable, if they've found that their risk of side effects (even with high error bars) is lower than their risk of getting coronavirus.

That would then buy more data which will inform continued rollout to the less at-risk population.
