No not or - I mean atrocities and murders and killings have already happened. And have been happening. And have cost countless lives on all sides for the duration of the war.

People need to accept that. There's some weird push (for interpreters specifically for some reason) to be "saved", as though that will absolve the warmongers of their sins. People act like they are aghast at the idea that some of these people might suffer the consequences of war, but the whole country has been suffering the consequences of war for decades. And if a few people are evacuated, the remaining 40 million Afghans will continue to suffer.
