I accepted the Google spyware and put ChromeOS Flex (https://chromeenterprise.google/os/chromeosflex/) on my ancient MacBook Air; at least it gets security patches now, and I can use it for basic tasks (including running a Linux VM on it and Linux apps (like emacs) that appear as native apps).
Its hardware support seems great - trackpad, wifi, etc all worked on install.
It's not a bad way to extend the life of some pretty nice hardware
Similarly to Shodan, this is looking things up in Censys's database. Censys scans more ports than Shodan, and has more up to date data. Also, I work for Censys.
