You made me curious so I tried this app. Unfortunately the UI is horendous. So far I tried the macOS, iOS, .jar and web version. Each version generates different passwords for the same site. This app has the most confusing UI I have seen in a long time, with each version being wildly different from the other. I still have no idea how to have multiple users for the same site, or even if setting the user makes a difference at all (seems not as it does not change the password). But most important: this app generates different passwords for the same input on different platforms. Kind of beats the purpose of having it in the first place.

At this point, why not use a plain text editor for everything? I expect some minimal features from a todo app (time and/or location based reminders/notifications, ability to quickly add new items and check existing items, items classification, etc.), some of which cannot be achieved by using spreadsheets. Using a spreadsheet for this purpose sounds more like "everything is a nail" syndrome.

I am in the same situation, it's frustrating that Apple segregates the store by country this way.

I just deleted all data from my account and set an automatic responder stating that, due to security concerns, I no longer use that account. I created my Y! account in 1998, it's a shame it has come to this. There were a lot of memories I had to purge along with my account (even though I had a different main account in the last decade). Shame!

This is literally presented in the article. (ಠ_ಠ)

It probably didn't. I run brew regularly on my machine, and I did not get any prompt asking me to enable analytics. From reading other comments, I see lots of users are in the same position, and homebrew sneaked this in with just a two line notice buried in the verbose output. This worries me deeply, to the point where I'm considering removing this software from my machine.

While I obviously feel the same way, I'd take a step back and see what Brew's response is to this thread / the backlash of what people want / don't want, because it has, overall been a good thing of macOS.
