reality feels like there is a mix of people with different motivations. I think the paradox exist because the odds are not clear

https://allrgb.com/radiator does something weird to my display, the lines extend beyond the window

Yeah same here. Had it with other "pulse trains" or similar harsh repetitive structures.

Guessing it's some resonances in the cable or so?

I believe it's typically a resonance in a power supply / voltage regulator.

Ah yes, that makes a lot more sense.

Yeah, I get weird horizontal lines that follow the image but extend to the edges of the screen. Since it extends to both sides it doesn't feel like a panel artifact, but a processing one.

Not to claim that the courts always unveil the truth, but in that case a jury found Carmack not culpable of IP theft.

reminds me of (a precursor to) Hyper-Reality by Keiichi Matsuda [1] (from about minute 2). This was done in AR and more like Black Mirror :)

you shouldn't start a new project with microservices, even if you're sure your application will be big enough to make it worthwhile.

doesn't seem so [1]

I think the maximum score we've sene so far is maybe something like 4,000 or 5,000. They descend down to dungeon level on average five or six

sometimes luckily, going down even dungeon level 15

In defense of the AI, that's about as good as the average player (and the average players is pretty skilled).

Level 8 is about where sokoban starts? That's what nearly any beginner could do after a few days (or even hours) of playing.

I’ve been playing for maybe 100 hours over the course of a decade, and have reached level 8 maybe once or twice. I just keep getting killed by some stupid ant or wolf or whatnot.

I've been playing on and off for 3 decades. Finally started winning when I used the iPhone and Android versions. Something about the UIs makes me better than that PC interface.

iNetHack2?

On iPhone, yes.

how about the offset on all the vehicles on the road? People still need to cool their homes reasonably while at work (people, pets) when they're not there so the difference might be less important. also this makes the assumption you're living in a place that needs AC. Commute is all year, AC usage maybe not.

Long-term this great news for the consumer that there is a third competitor in the discrete GPU space. If the tier 1 games have competitive/same performance then I'm optimistic that the HW is solid and the gap needs to be closed via updates on driver software.

I like Leechblock on browser and use app limits on phone. Basic idea is to break the loop.
