After 2008 collapse and now this, what has government done to prevent this? Bailing out needs to be done to protect the depositors everyone sympathizes with small businesses. However, what safe guards were put in place or are being put in place for this to not happen again?
James Baker worked for the DOJ and FBI directly before becoming high up counsel at Twitter. He was fired for selectively edited the documents and disclosures that became the Twitter Files.
Let me tell you a tale from when I was going to college.
The school I was attending decided in my last year that it was no longer doing "need-blind" admissions. There was a minor uproar, but of course it went through.
So... you're saying the school will preferentially let in richer students to the organization if they can? You know, two applications being allegedly equal?
I leave it as an exercise to the reader how much objectivity on "equal applications" when one of the students basically is 10x richer (and parents that might donate), when you have to see how well affirmative action with "equal applications" has worked to get minorities into white collar jobs.
Of course what the college was doing was probably formalizing what it was doing anyway. Why would it do that?
Ohhhh,,, right, lets do way more egregious pay-for-admission that "pick the richer between equals". Right.
Then a decade later, I noticed all these chinese nationals on universitites, and the students said they were a bit of a headache because they were so obnoxiously rich.
Oh! The colleges figured out how to kill two birds with one stone: a rich foreigner is a minority AND rich! So they would coddle these scions as much as possible.
Things that your forefathers suffered, may be 6 to 10 generations before you. Can you name one thing which directly or indirectly affects you today because of their sufferings?
Slavery was that long ago.
White's were sold as slaves in North Africa before black slaves where brought to America. Even white women were sold as sex slaves and they used to call them "White Gold". ( You can search for term "White Gold Slavery")
Do whites also get reparations?
Additionally nobody talks about modern day slavery, which are sex slaves. There are millions of women stuck in that trade who were forced in to it against their will and they cannot leave.
I can trace behavioral patterns back 4 generations in my own family. And the only reason I can't go farther is that I have never talked to anyone who knew my great great grandparents. (Which would be difficult given that they were born in the 1800s and died before my birth.)
However, regardless of whether there is an impact, EVERY ethnic group has severe trauma in its past. And you generally don't have to go back more than a century or two to find it. The best thing to do is fix our present, and try to create a better future. Which, globally, we've generally been doing at a breathtaking pace.
Albeit with important exceptions. Such as problems that teenage girls began having with mental health starting about 10 years ago. Which may be tied to social media applications.
We can soon expect and in most place and in some places it already is in effect, that number to be close to 20 to 30 instead of 15 because all good officers left or retired in droves due to defund the police movement.
Most tech people here do not realize what conditions these officers work in. If they are in shady part of town, they will get cursed, get called every name just for being there. They have to be on their heels for any kind of violence at all times. On top because of woke leaders they are not allowed to use force because they know, police chief and mayor will not have their backs when they use force.
Good one's who left are not coming back and good one's which were once planning on joining the force so many have changed their plans.
Here is an example of person who got deplatformed from Twitter because they expressed virus came from a lab. There are numerous such examples which did not had news articles published for them.
So a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Hong Kong posted a self-published, non-peer reviewed paper, which was subsequently shown to not be supported by the underlying data cited. She also fled Hong Kong after publishing that paper.
This sound a lot less like she was deplatformed from Twitter by Twitter employees, and a lot more like Twitter was given a legal order from the Chinese government to deplatform her. Which is a very different conversation than employees of social media companies suspending someone because of their personal beliefs.
Despite her being suspended from Twitter, "Yan’s paper on Zenodo — despite several blistering scientific critiques and widespread news coverage of its alleged flaws — now has been viewed more than 1 million times, probably making it the most widely read research on the origins of the coronavirus pandemic" [0]
She also proceeded to appear on the most viewed national evening news segment multiple times as well as dozens of podcasts and live streams.
So I don't really see how going from having a Twitter account to being a national conservative hero as a whistle-blower is really feeling any negative reproductions from her speech. In fact, her speech seemed to make a name for herself and win her a lot of positive publicity.
Somebody is dead and somebody else is alleged to have killed them and you're asking someone on the other side of the world about injustice in this specific case?
For all who are up in arms about police not doing their job. It is almost always the same crowd, that boo the officers for doing their job when they have to use force.
Guess people are afraid to go in rough neighborhood to retrieve their own property and police is not coming with them because they know they will have to use force to get job done. And when they actually use force, everyone including those whose property is stolen go up in arms, how can you do use that force? That is the simple reason police does not care. In cities like Baltimore and Minneapolis they even ignore shootings and murder because of woke agenda in the city as they know they will be punished for doing their jobs.
Well, may this be a lesson for those whose property is stolen and those who are shocked by no response from police, that going in rough parts of town and meeting criminals does not go very well with please and thankyou. You should be ready and willing to use force which most of the times is necessary.
> It is almost always the same crowd, that boo the officers for doing their job when they have to use force.
I disagree, and think it’s quite telling that you feel this way. Most people I know would love for the police to do their job and use the force that they and only they are authorised to use (here in Aus) to retrieve stolen private property. But they don’t. Best they’ll do is file a report so you can claim it on insurance if you’re lucky enough to have it.
Phosphatidylserine (It is a nootropic) + Bacopa Monnieri, It comes as capsule and you can get it on Amazon.
Plus Ashwagandha (KSM 66), other non patent Ashwagandha is not that effective.
After trying everything and not getting results, this works. Phosphatidylserine puts one in zone for hours and Ashwagandha (KSM 66) (morning and evening) calms down chatter in mind.
I guess none.
