There're a lot of use of React in ordinary web apps, i.e. web apps which reuse existing widgets and components to create ui with lists, trees, tables and forms. However, what about such applications as:

* Graphics editors, i.e. something like photoshop * Text editor, code editors, rich text editors, structured editors * Spreadsheets, etc * CAD systems

Is scene graph approach really scalable to these fields?

P.S. I heard that atom used react or something similar but later decided to drop it.
