No, that would not make a significant difference here. The problem is that the same line has to bounce around all of the threads that share it; pinning doesn’t reduce that very much on this time-scale. Thread migrations will be very infrequent relative to atomic operations, especially when the number of runnable threads is lower than number of physical cores.
